Situation
FROM PERPIGNAN: take the A9/E15 towards Spain- La Jonquera. Take the exit 2 La Jonquera and merge the N-II towards Figueres and then take the GI-601 until Cantallops.
FROM GIRONA: take the AP7 towards La Jonquera until the exit 2. There take the NII towards Figueres and merge the GI-601.
FROM PERPIGNAN:Take the A9/E15 towards Spain- La Jonquera. Take the exit 2 La Jonquera and merge the NII towards Figueres and then take the GI-601 until Cantallops.
FROM GIRONA: take the AP7 towards La Jonquera until the exit 2. There take the NII towards Figueres and merge the GI-601.

The municipal district of Castell-Platja d'Aro is made up by the inland town of Castell d'Aro, the coastal town of Platja d'Aro and S'Agaró, which began in 1916 as a simple housing estate and has now become a luxury residential area stretching off to the border with Sant Feliu de Guíxols.
