Montefrio One of the most beautiful and charismatic towns of Granada is without
doubt Montefrío. Ensconced in the sierras of Chanza and Parapanda it is
a magnificent whitewashed gem in a rugged and rocky setting.
The Climb Up To Mulhacen Mulhacen, on the southern side of Sierra Nevada, is the highest peak on
the Iberian Peninsula at 3481 metres. The best way to tackle its
ascension is to start from the vehicle barrier on the track up to the
Poqueira mountain refuge.
Guadix Just like a filmset, Guadix unfolds its long history to the spectator
strolling through its streets. It has Arab, Roman and Renaissance
features and also remnants of its cave-dwelling past, making it one of
the most complete examples of deepest Andalusia.
