An old palace from the beginning of the twentieth century which belonged to one of the region´s most affluent families and which has been restored and converted into a magnificent hotel, extremely delicately decorated and an example of the refinement of that age. This beautiful hotel is in Madroñera, in a breathtaking location close to Trujillo, Cáceres, Mérida and Guadalupe, all declared World Heritage Sites. Here, the most demanding guests will find top quality service and rooms full of charm, warmth and comfort.
Trujillo is one of Spain´s oldest cities dating back to the 8th century BC, when a Roman bastion was built due to its strategic location. Trujillo has witnessed a great number of battles which have all left their mark.
Close to an extensive big- and small-game hunting reserve. The Monfragüe Natural Park is important for nature lovers as it is one of the last strongholds that preserves species which are in danger of extinction, such as the Griffon vulture, the Spanish Imperial eagle and the Spanish lynx.
Cáceres, Merida, Trujillo and Guadalupe. The first two are UNESCO World Heritage Sites and Guadalupe, famous for its monastery. has been a participant in the history of the discoverers of America and the Royal Family Vault until it was moved to El Escorial by order of Philip II.

It has 23 rooms, all of which are doubles and fully-fitted. They all have bathrooms, heating, air conditioning, TV, minibar and satellite TV.
There are all differents in terms of decor and distribution. The most characteristic feature of this beautiful hotel are undoubtedly its vaulted ceilings, which in some rooms are made completely of wood.
The Junior Suites are more spacious and with luxous furniture. are different from the double rooms due to their size, which is more than abundant, and their furniture. As with the double rooms, they are fully-fitted.

By car, take the N-V dual carriageway from Madrid to Trujillo. In Trujillo take the Trujillo to Guadalupe road. The Madrona turn-off is about 7 km along on the left.
From Madrid on the N V dual carriageway, Cáceres along the N-V to Madrid, Merida or Salamanca towards Trujillo.
