Platja d Aro The municipal district of Castell-Platja d'Aro is made up by the inland town of Castell d'Aro, the coastal town of Platja d'Aro and S'Agaró, which began in 1916 as a simple housing estate and has now become a luxury residential area stretching off to the border with Sant Feliu de Guíxols.
