Semana Santa In Lower Aragon Semana Santa is an especially heartfelt celebration in Lower Aragon. In
this area nine towns of Teruel commemorate the passion of Christ in a
celebration known as la ruta del
tambor y el bombo route of the drums, a particularly well-known
event in Spains festival calendar. It has been officially listed as a
festival of National Interest.
