It was built by stone, ashlar and brick. Part of the main salon is a former church from the XIIIth century, which still preservs its monumental nature. According to the historians, this is the place of Saint Iñigo's birth, benedictine monk and patron saint of Calatayud. The "Monasterio Benedicto"'s rooms are decorated in a nice style and have all the facilities of a four stars hotel, from minibar to Tv-set and satellite dish. Its restaurant "San Benito" has such an international menu as fthe delights of the regional cuisine, and its capacity is for 150 persons.
