Zurich also has a great deal to offer art enthusiasts. The city has no fewer than 50 museums, 14 of which are devoted to art. In the Kunsthaus Zurich museum of plastic arts, there is an important collection of paintings, sculptures, photos and videos. Another highlight is the Rietberg Museum , one of the first international art centres of non-European art.
However, in Zurich, art may be experienced outside the walls of the museums and art galleries, be it the Giacometti hall in the Zurich city Police Headquarters, the choir windows designed by Marc Chagall in the church of Fraumünster-Kirche or the work entitled Heureka by Jean Tinguely, located on the shore of Lake Zurich .
