Torazo, located in Cabrales, has been awarded with the prize to the model village given by the Principe de Asturias Fundation. The village, the Hospería de Torazo is, has obtained this distinction due to his attitude towards the environment and artistic preservation. The judges also highlighted the “community spirit” of its inhabitants.
The Prince Felipe, will visit the place at the end of the next month of October to handover the prize. Torado is located in a natural setting, and has great landscapes, surrounded by valleys and mountains of thick vegetation, with spectacular views to Picos de Europa.
On the other hand, the Hostería de Torazo is a hotel-spa with steam room and sauna, massage booths, outdoor swimming pool and hydrotherapy. Also, has an a la carte restaurant where you can enjoy the most traditional and exquisite Asturian dishes.
