History

The story of Fleur de Ville began long before it became a hotel. Built in the late 19th century as the headquarters of the former Caisse Générale d’Épargne et de Retraite, one of Belgium’s most important financial institutions, the building still preserves the elegance and prestige of that era.

Designed by Henri Beyaert and later expanded by Alban Chambon, its architecture has been meticulously restored to preserve the original features that continue to define its character.
